I have had this issue with PDF files when adding a SharePoint Library by way of 'Add Cloud Storage' and added as a Tab. I had worked with MS Support and narrowed it down to a single site collection that was experincing the issue. Note: If you're using Teams on the web, you'll only be able to share your screen if you're using Google Chrome or the latest version of Microsoft Edge. But right now, as you know, it's only available to read PDF in Teams. We've started 'playing' with Teams and though it has 'collaboration' tools these seem to be very limited. My assumption is that it is effectively a live-stream at screen resolution, which is why it's very slow. The purple circle just continues to spin. In SharePoint I had the full capability I have with Adobe Acrobat DC. Yeah me too, however I have been discussing this for a month now with them. The "Open Online" option is our workaround right now, but it would be great to have this fixed.

I've noticed this only happens from a connected SharePoint library. I keep bugging them every two weeks to try and get a resolution. Has anyone else had this issue? Every other file type, Word, Excel, link, has worked perfectly, just PDF files. I completely understand it would be more convenient if we could edit PDFs in Microsoft Teams app. Any of you having an issue with a SharePoint site that is not the subsite of the root SharePoint site? Any new or different site collection the files work fine, only files from the Root site and any subsite. Use Microsoft Teams on your desktop, on the web, or on your iOS or Android mobile device. We kindly appreciate for your understanding.
